মনোবিজ্ঞানের গল্প
বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠদের জন্য আয়োজিত সান্ধ্যকালীন ক্লাস চলাকালীন মনোবিজ্ঞান শিক্ষক ক্লাসে প্রবেশ করে শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্দেশে বললেন,”আসুন সবাই মিলে একটি খেলা খেলি!”
“কি খেলা?” শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রশ্নের উত্তরে শিক্ষক যে কোন একজন শিক্ষার্থীকে স্বেচ্ছাসেবকের হওয়ার জন্য আহবান করলেন।
আলিজা নামের একজন মহিলা এগিয়ে এল।
শিক্ষক তাকে ব্ল্যাকবোর্ডে তার জীবনের ৩০ জন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তির নাম লিখতে বললেন।
আলিজা একটু চিন্তা করে করে তার পরিবারের সদস্য, আত্মীয়স্বজন, বন্ধুবান্ধব, তার সহকর্মী এবং তার প্রতিবেশীদের নাম লিখলো।
শিক্ষক ওই তালিকার ভিতর থেকে বেছে বেছে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বহীন ৩ টি নাম মুছতে বললেন।
আলিজা তার ৩ জন সহকর্মীদের নাম মুছে ফেলল।
শিক্ষক আবার একইভাবে তাকে আরও ৫ টি নাম মুছতে বললেন। আলিজা তার আরো ৫ জন প্রতিবেশীর নাম মুছে ফেললো।
এ ভাবে চলতে চলতে ব্ল্যাকবোর্ডে কেবল চারটি নাম বাকি থাকলো। তারা হলেন তার মা, বাবা, স্বামী এবং একমাত্র পুত্র।
পুরো ক্লাসটি নিরব হয়ে গেল, সকলে অনুধাবন করলো যে এটি আর কেবল আলিজার একার জন্য খেলা নয়।
শিক্ষক তাকে আরও দুটি নাম মুছতে বলেছেন।
এটা আলিজার পক্ষে খুব কঠিন কাজ ছিল।
কিন্তু সে অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে তার বাবা-মায়ের নাম মুছে ফেললো।
“দয়া করে আরও একটি মুছুন” শিক্ষক বললেন।
আলিজা খুব ঘাবড়ে গেল এবং হাত পা কাঁপতে শুরু করলো এবং চোখ দুটো অস্রুসজল হয়ে উঠলো। খুব নার্ভাস হয়ে গেল আলিজা এবং অবশেষে তার একমাত্র ছেলের নাম মুছে আলিজা যন্ত্রণাই কেদে উঠলো …
শিক্ষক আলিজাকে তার আসনে বসতে বললেন।
কিছুক্ষণ পর শিক্ষক শান্ত কণ্ঠে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন “আপনার স্বামীর নাম রাখলেন কেন ?? আপনার বাবা-মা আপনাকে লালন-পালন করেছেন এবং আপনার পুত্রকে আপনি জন্ম দিয়েছেন ??? এবং আপনি ইচ্ছা করলে বিয়ে করে একজন স্বামীও পেতে পারেন !!! ”
ক্লাসে সুনসান নীরবতা।
সকলেই আলিজার প্রতিক্রিয়া জানতে আগ্রহী হয়ে রইলো।
আলিজা শান্তভাবে এবং আস্তে আস্তে বলল, “আমার বাবা-মা সম্ভাবত আমার আগেই বিদায় নেবেন।
ছেলে বড় হলে পড়াশোনা, ব্যবসা বা যে কোনও কারণেই আমাকে ছেড়ে চলে যেতে পারে। কেবলমাত্র তিনিই আমার সাথে তাঁর পুরো জীবন ভাগ করে নেবেন, তিনি হলেন আমার স্বামী ”।
সমস্ত শিক্ষার্থী উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে করতালি দিয়ে অশ্রু সজল চোখে এই জীবনের সত্যটি সবার সাথে ভাগ করে নেওয়ার জন্য আলিজাকে সাধুবাদ জানালো।
এটাই সত্য, তাই সর্বদা আপনার জীবনসঙ্গীকে মূল্যায়ন করুন, এটা স্বামী স্ত্রী উভয়ের জন্য প্রযোজ্য।
বিধাতা স্বামী স্ত্রী এই দুটি আত্মাকে এক করে দিয়েছেন এবং এই পবিত্র বন্ধনকে যে কোন কিছুর বিনিময়ে লালন করা এখন সবার কর্তব্য।
